Two Chapters Ahead
Accessibility

We're building this for everyone.

Two Chapters Ahead is committed to making our website usable by as many people as possible, including those who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, captions, or other assistive technology.

Our standard

We target Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. This is the same standard most governments and large organizations follow. It covers things like color contrast, keyboard access, screen-reader compatibility, and being usable without depending on color alone.

What we've built in

  • A skip-to-content link for keyboard users.
  • Visible keyboard focus indicators on every interactive element.
  • Semantic HTML (real headings, buttons, links, landmarks).
  • Accessible names on every icon-only button.
  • Form errors announced to screen readers via ARIA live regions.
  • Reduced-motion support, animations stop for visitors who've opted out at the OS level.
  • Mobile-first responsive design, the site works from 320px wide.
  • Alt text on content images; decorative icons hidden from screen readers.

What we're still working on

Accessibility is ongoing, not a checkbox. We review the site regularly and fix issues as we find them. If something doesn't work for you, please tell us so we can fix it fast.
